SII's Assistance Makes Worshipers At Mosques In Pangkep More Comfortable

PT Semen Indonesia International (SII) has made the worshippers at Masjid Nur Biringkassi in Bulu Cindea, Bungoro District, Pangkajene Islands Regency (Pangkep), South Sulawesi, more comfortable during their prayers. SII has donated a 72-square-meter carpet as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) program.

The donation of prayer equipment was handed over by SII's representative in South Sulawesi, Ahyul, to the mosque's administrators, Arafiq, on Friday (7/5/2024). The new carpet is expected to enhance the comfort of worshippers during prayers and other religious activities at Masjid Nur Biringkassi. "We thank SII for providing the carpet assistance. It is very suitable because part of Masjid Nur Biringkassi's floor is not carpeted," said Arafiq.

Furthermore, they also hope that the synergy between SII and the local community will become closer and more sustainable. A harmonious relationship between the company and the community is crucial for development in the region. "We must support each other for sustainable development and collective prosperity," he added.
