SII Provides Basic Food Aid To Flood Victims In Agam Regency, West Sumatra

(SII) distributed humanitarian assistance in the form of basic food packages to
communities affected by flooding in two villages in Sumatra, namely Tobo h
Village and Sini Aia Village, Malalak Selatan Subdistrict, Malalak District,
Agam Regency, West Sumatra, on 24 December 2025. This assistance reflects the
company’s concern and social responsibility toward communities affected by
natural disasters.
In collaboration with Risalah
Charity, SII distributed 168 basic food packages consisting of essential items
such as rice, cooking oil, sugar, eggs, and other food staples, which are
expected to help ease the burden on residents during the emergency response
period.
Acting Director Trisandi stated
that the assistance represents the company’s commitment to being present and
making a tangible contribution to the community, particularly during natural
disasters. “We hope this assistance will help meet the basic needs of affected
communities and provide moral support so they can recover and resume their
daily activities,” he said.
In addition to distributing aid,
SII continues to monitor developments in the affected areas. Going forward, SII
is committed to implementing sustainable corporate social responsibility
programs that deliver positive impacts for the community.
