Supporting Development In Réunion Island, SII Strengthens Cooperation With Alt Blue Trading

SI International Trading Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of PT Semen Indonesia International (SII), together with Alt Blue Trading AG as the trader and Teralta Ciment Réunion as the end buyer, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for a strategic cooperation in cement sales to Réunion Island on 16 December 2025. This cooperation covers the marketing of SIG cement products, particularly Type 52N cement produced by PT Semen Padang.

The signing of this MoU marks the initial step of collaboration among the three companies in supplying cement products to meet development needs in Réunion Island. The potential volume of cement shipments is projected to reach up to 150,000 metric tons (MT) per year, with deliveries expected to commence in early 2026. Going forward, this collaboration is expected not to be limited to cement sales alone, but also to open opportunities for cooperation in other building material products, in line with the growing demand for infrastructure and construction development in Réunion Island.

The President Director of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, Indrieffouny Indra, stated that the signing of this MoU reflects the company’s commitment to expanding global collaboration, enhancing competitiveness, and creating long-term value. Meanwhile, François Massie, Director of Teralta Ciment Réunion, conveyed that SIG is a company with a strong reputation, solid industrial competence, and a proven track record in the global arena, making it the preferred strategic partner to support Teralta Ciment Réunion’s business needs and market development.

Through this strategic cooperation, SII is optimistic that it will strengthen SIG’s presence in the international market while supporting the supply of high-quality construction materials for sustainable development in Réunion Island. This collaboration is expected to serve as a foundation for a mutually beneficial long-term partnership and to open broader business development opportunities in the future.
