SII Shares Gifts And Inspiration With Children Of Rumah Belajar Senen

In the spirit of commemorating its 9th anniversary, several employees of PT Semen Indonesia International (SII) held a “Sharing and Inspiring” event at Rumah Belajar Senen (RBS), located in Kramat, Senen, Jakarta, on Saturday (May 31, 2025). In addition to distributing gift packages, SII also took the opportunity to inspire RBS children to pursue their dreams.

The event involved SII employees from various backgrounds, who together created a warm and joyful atmosphere. Through light-hearted stories, the employees motivated the RBS children to stay enthusiastic about learning and to dream of a brighter future.

After the storytelling session, the event continued with a coloring activity followed by the donation of 60 pairs of school shoes. These new shoes are expected to support the children’s comfort and enthusiasm in their daily learning activities. Putri, a representative of the RBS community, expressed her gratitude for SII’s care and attention toward the children. “The kids are really happy to be visited by friends from SII today. We hope SII continues to succeed and keeps inspiring the children at RBS,” she said.

The RBS community was founded by a group of youths back in 2005. To kick off their activities, they gathered children from the surrounding area to study together at Taman Gunung Agung, Kwitang, Jakarta. These underprivileged children were invited to take part in creative activities such as drawing, coloring, basic literacy and numeracy, Quran recitation, and English lessons.

For SII, by carrying the spirit of sharing and inspiring, the company hopes to continue fostering a culture of mutual cooperation and social awareness, and to be a part of the journey toward positive change in the lives of Indonesian children.
