SII Holds Talkshow "Boosting Productivity Through Time, Workspace Management, And Creativity" To Enhance Work Productivity

PT Semen Indonesia International (SII) organized a talk show titled "Boosting Productivity Through Time, Workspace Management, and Creativity" on Friday, October 25, 2024. SII invited a time management expert from Peopleshift, Irma Yani, as a guest speaker. The talk show aimed to provide employees with insights on effective ways to understand the importance of organizing the workspace and managing time, as well as how creativity can enhance daily productivity.

The session began with a discussion on the importance of workspace organization and creativity in boosting productivity. The trainer explained the positive impact of an organized workspace on mental health and how maintaining order can prevent burnout and increase efficiency. Next, the trainer shared practical time management techniques, such as time blocking, to-do lists, and the Pomodoro technique, to help employees manage their time effectively.

Employees showed high enthusiasm during the Q&A session, sharing experiences and challenges they face in time and workspace management. The time management techniques introduced, such as time blocking and the Pomodoro technique, received positive feedback and are believed to be applicable in daily routines to improve work efficiency.

Following the talk show, a tufting technique workshop was held. Tufting is a craft-making process involving knitting with a "tufting gun" tool, producing a 3D or slightly raised result. Hari Setio, an event organizer from the AXSARA community, mentioned that tufting involves choosing colors, patterns, and designs that allow employees to explore their visual skills. This helps them learn to think aesthetically and create unique works, which can hone their creative thinking skills.

Finance Director Trisandi stated that tufting is a creative activity that encourages thinking beyond conventional boundaries, with the hope that such activities will foster innovation within the company. Additionally, the techniques for creating a neat and comfortable workspace can be implemented in daily life, enabling employees to be more productive.
