79th Independence Day Celebration Of The Republic Of Indonesia At PT Semen Indonesia International Was Joyful

PT Semen Indonesia International (SII) celebrated the 79th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia with a spirit of togetherness through various competitions held at the Signature Lounge, The East, on Friday, August 16, 2024. The event, which involved all employees, created a festive and joyful atmosphere.

The independence celebration was held under the theme "Dirgahayu Indonesia, Hijau Nusantaraku!" (Long Live Indonesia, My Green Archipelago!). This theme aligns with SII's support for SIG's contribution to the development of the new capital city (IKN) and serves as a platform for promoting SIG's green innovation solutions. The event began with a speech by the Finance Director, Trisandi, who emphasized the importance of unity and togetherness in celebrating independence. He also provided additional information about Green Cement, a new product from SIG, which is an innovative, environmentally-friendly product produced using sustainable materials and processes, supported by research and development activities to deliver lower emissions while maintaining quality.

The competitions included the Independence Day Badminton Cup 2024, SII Chess Cup 2024, and the Independence Day Champion 2024, featuring events such as quizzes, balloon relays, cardboard races, flag sewing, and biscuit transfer games. Directors and employees participated enthusiastically, showing a strong competitive spirit among the groups. The event was filled with camaraderie and joy.

The celebration concluded with the distribution of prizes to the competition winners and a joint prayer, asking for continued blessings of independence and peace for Indonesia. This celebration became an unforgettable moment for the entire SII family, while also introducing Green Cement as part of SIG's green innovation solutions.
