Welcoming Easter, SII Shares Happiness At Karena Kasih Catholic Orphanage In Jakarta Utara

PT Semen Indonesia International (SII) joins in the spirit of Easter joy by providing assistance to the children of the Karena Kasih Catholic Orphanage in Sunter, North Jakarta, on Thursday (28/3/2024). A donation worth Rp11 million was handed over by SII management representatives to the orphanage administrator, Yunus.

Established in 1993, the Karena Kasih Orphanage is home to around 20 children aged 4 to 18 years old. They are orphans, abandoned children, and those neglected by both parents. "We thank SII for providing assistance to us. This aid is very beneficial for the orphanage family," said Yunus.

SII's President Director, Ridwansyah, hopes that the assistance from the company can be utilized as effectively as possible for the needs of the orphanage in guiding orphaned and neglected children. "We hope that in the future, the company's CSR programs will continue to operate so that they can make a real contribution to improving the quality of life for the community and the environment," he said.
