SII Strengthens Commitment To Product And Service Excellence Through ISO 9001:2015 Certification

PT Semen Indonesia International (SII) has once again reaffirmed its commitment to implementing a Quality Management System (QMS) by successfully maintaining its ISO 9001:2015 certification through the Surveillance Audit conducted at the company's office in The East Building, Jakarta, on Thursday (May 21, 2026).

The surveillance audit is part of the certification maintenance process aimed at ensuring that the company's Quality Management System continues to be implemented consistently, effectively, and in accordance with international standards. This periodic evaluation is conducted by an independent certification body to verify the organization's continued compliance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements and its commitment to the principle of continual improvement.

The audit was carried out by two auditors from Equal Assurance, led by Abu Hanifah as the Lead Auditor and accompanied by Ikhsan Osril as Auditor. The scope of the surveillance audit covered domestic and international trading of cement, clinker, and other material products. Based on the results presented during the closing meeting, SII was confirmed to have met all applicable requirements and therefore remains certified to ISO 9001:2015.

During the audit, the audit team identified three minor nonconformities and six observations as opportunities to further enhance the effectiveness of the company's Quality Management System. Responding to the audit results, SII's Management Representative, Isma Junida, emphasized that all findings would be addressed promptly in accordance with the applicable procedures.

"The findings presented by the audit team provide valuable input that helps us become more disciplined and meticulous in carrying out our business processes. We are committed to implementing all necessary corrective actions as part of our continuous improvement efforts," said Isma.

Isma also explained that prior to the surveillance audit, SII had conducted an internal audit as part of its efforts to ensure that all business processes complied with the requirements of the Quality Management System. Although several findings were identified during the internal audit, they served as valuable evaluations to identify areas requiring improvement before the external certification audit.

Successfully maintaining the ISO 9001:2015 certification reflects SII's consistent commitment to embedding a culture of quality throughout the organization.
