SII Continues Social Commitment Through Eid Al-Adha Qurban Distribution

In welcoming Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah, PT Semen Indonesia International (SII) carried out a sacrificial animal distribution program by donating four cows across several regions. This activity reflects the company’s social responsibility and its efforts to strengthen relationships with surrounding communities. The sacrificial animals were distributed to Masjid Jami Nurul Jannah (Bogor), Masjid Jami Al-Mabruk (East Jakarta), Masjid An Nur (Pangkep), and Mushola Nurul Jadid (Madiun).

The handover of the sacrificial animals was carried out symbolically by SII employee representatives to the qurban committees and local community representatives. The qurban meat will later be distributed to those in need so that the blessings of Eid al-Adha can be shared more evenly among communities around the company’s operational areas.

SII GM of Human Capital, Isma Junida, stated that the qurban activity is part of the company’s annual agenda as an expression of gratitude and a commitment to continuously share and provide benefits to the community. “Through this Eid al-Adha momentum, we hope to strengthen the values of togetherness, compassion, and the spirit of sharing with the community,” she said. She also added that social activities such as this are part of the company’s commitment to building harmonious relationships with the community and supporting the creation of a better and more sustainable social environment.

The qurban activity is also expected to strengthen ties between the company, employees, and surrounding communities. The distribution process was carried out while maintaining orderliness, environmental cleanliness, and health and safety principles throughout the implementation of the activity. Through this initiative, SII hopes that the values of togetherness and social care will continue to grow, in line with the company’s spirit of making a positive contribution to society and the environment.
