SII Shares Christmas Joy With Children Of Fajar Baru Catholic Orphanage

With the spirit of sharing joy during the Christmas season, PT Semen Indonesia International (SII) distributed Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program assistance to the Fajar Baru Catholic Orphanage in Cimanggis, Depok, West Java, on Tuesday (December 24, 2024). The aid, in the form of cash amounting to IDR 9,400,000, reflects SII's empathy and care for the community surrounding the company.

The handover ceremony was attended by representatives from SII management, orphanage staff, and the children living there. SII's Finance Director, Trisandi, stated that this assistance is part of the company’s efforts to make a positive impact on society, particularly for those in need or during special occasions. “We believe Christmas is a moment to share and strengthen a sense of care. We hope this assistance can ease the orphanage’s operational burdens and bring joy to the children,” said Trisandi.

Sister Beatrick, one of the administrators of the Fajar Baru Catholic Orphanage, expressed her gratitude for SII's support. "We are deeply thankful for the company’s care and generosity. This assistance means a lot to us, especially in bringing Christmas joy to the children here," she said. SII hopes that this initiative will inspire more people to share happiness with others, particularly during special moments like Christmas.
